- Document code:
- ASMH-AFRIQUE-POL-22
- Version:
- 2.0
- Effective date:
- August 27, 2026
- Intended audiences:
- Visitor, candidate, trainee, graduate, and those communicating with the academy
Article 1: Types of messages
The academy distinguishes between:
- Required service messages: Nomination, contract, performance, security, appointments, results, support, documents and change of service;
- Educational messages: Content related to the program you are enrolled in;
- Marketing messages: Offers, programs or events that are not necessary for the current service.
The description “service” should not be used to hide an unnecessary advertisement.
Article 2: Transmission channels
You may use email, text, phone, or account notification, depending on your purpose and choice. The official channel is specified in the contract and account.
Article 3: Marketing approval
It is separate from acceptance of the contract and is not specified in advance, and indicates the identity of the sender, the type of content, the channel, and the method of withdrawal. Its rejection shall not be a reason to refuse registration or reduce service.
Article 4: Proof of approval
Its date, source, text, channel and appropriate identifier are saved. If the consent is on behalf of a person, the authority of the person granting it is verified.
Article 5: Service messages
It may continue despite the refusal of marketing when it is necessary to enforce the contract, security, or right of the trainee. It is limited to the purpose and without unrelated offers.
Article 6: Withdrawal
The marketing message includes a clear and working means of opting out. The request will be executed without undue delay and within the legal deadline, with the possibility of keeping a small ban list so that the address is not re-listed incorrectly.
Article 7: Preferences
User can choose themes, channels or tempo where available. The option to stop it will not be reactivated except with new approval or an explicit request from him.
Article 8: The identity of the message
The message includes the actual name of the academy or sender, a clear purpose, contact information, and a correct domain address. Do not request your password or full verification code via mail.
Article 9: Parties and Partners
The Canadian entity, the African entity, or the training service provider does not send independent marketing to data obtained through the academy except in accordance with a declared role and approval or an appropriate legal basis. Contact lists are not sold.
Article 10: Referrals and invitations
The user is not required to download a complete address book. If he sends an invitation to someone he knows, it will be limited and not repeated, and the real sender will be made clear and the method will not be received further.
Article 11: The minor
Minors are not targeted with inappropriate marketing, and the guardian’s approval and age and country requirements must be taken into account.
Article 12: Measuring interaction
If you use opening pixels or follow unnecessary links, POL-21 and user preferences apply, and the measurement is not integrated into an academic file to make an informed decision.
Article 13: Fraudulent messages
User should verify domain, not share password, and report spoofing to [email protected]. Official domain templates can be posted within the Help Center.
Article 14: Record and Privacy
POL-20 applies to contact and favorites lists. The lists are reviewed periodically to remove invalid addresses and respect stop requests.
Article 15: Communication
To change preferences, use the withdrawal or account link or [email protected].
