Preamble

Article 1: Scope of conduct
The policy applies within the platform, sessions, messages, groups, events, practical training, and any activity directly related to the program, even if an approved external tool is used.
Article 2: Expected behavior
The user is obligated to:
- Respect dignity and difference;
- Professional communication;
- Follow safety and learning instructions;
- Respect privacy and intellectual property;
- Not disrupting the learning of others;
- Reporting in good faith the serious danger.
Article 3: Equality and non-discrimination
Unlawful discrimination on the grounds of origin, colour, sex, pregnancy, family status, disability, age, religion, language, nationality or any other basis protected by applicable rules is not acceptable.
Article 4: Harassment
Includes unwanted behavior that infringes on dignity or creates an intimidating, hostile, or insulting environment, including sexual harassment, inappropriate messages or images, stalking, and pressure for academic advantage.
Article 5: Violence and threats
Serious threats, incitement to violence, blackmail, revealing address or data with intent to harm, and possessing or sharing harmful content that violates the law or safety are prohibited.
Article 6: Digital Conduct
Impersonation, account hacking, publishing third party data, recording a session or person without authorization, sending spam or malware, and circumventing restrictions are prohibited.
Article 7: Academic Integrity
Fraud, plagiarism and artificial intelligence violations are primarily addressed in accordance with POL-15, with this policy being applicable if the act involves independent misconduct.
Article 8: Reporting
The affected person or witness can submit a report through the official channel, describing the incident, date, people, and available evidence. Complete proof is not required for the initial communication to be accepted.
Article 9: Urgent protection
In the event of an immediate danger, provisional and proportionate action, such as disconnecting a channel of communication, temporary restriction or changing a group, may be taken without presumption of culpability and without exceeding the necessary period.
Article 10: Examination and investigation
The report is examined confidentially. The person concerned is informed of the allegation and the underlying data and is given an opportunity to respond, unless part of the communication is temporarily postponed to protect a person or evidence and the reason is documented.
Article 11: Decision and proportionality
The nature of the act, its seriousness, repetition, impact, intent and circumstances are taken into account. The result may be a warning, bond, training, restriction, group change, suspension, or termination of registration in serious cases and after fair procedure.
Article 12: Non-retaliation
Retaliation against a person who reported, witnessed, or requested an accommodation in good faith is prohibited. Rejecting the report after examination is not considered evidence alone of bad faith.
Article 13: Malicious communication
A report that is intentionally fabricated with the intent to harm is treated as an independent violation, after proving bad faith, and not simply because of insufficient evidence.
Article 14: Confidentiality
Information is shared with those who need it for examination, protection and decision, and absolute confidentiality cannot be guaranteed if disclosure is required for a fair investigation or legal duty.
Article 15: Support and arrangements
A change of contact, extension, technical support, or appropriate learning arrangement can be offered, without placing an undue burden on the affected person or lowering their academic standard.
Article 16: Appeal
The decision can be reviewed in accordance with POL-18, and is considered by someone not unique to the first decision whenever possible.
Article 17: Emergency
In the event of a real threat to life or safety, you should contact local emergency services first, then notify the Academy when it is safe.
Article 18: Communication
Reports and complaints should be sent to [email protected] with a request to mark them as “Confidentiality - Conduct and Safety.”
