Preamble
Article 1: Types of documents
May include:
- Registration or follow-up statement;
- Statement of units or results;
- Certificate of attendance or participation;
- Certificate of completion;
- A training diploma if the program and contract stipulate it;
- Point detection;
- An alternative copy or administrative translation when available.
Article 2: Document card before registration
The program and contract page explains:
- Document name;
- Issuing body: academic, institution, Canadian body, or African body;
- Eligibility conditions;
- Language and format of release;
- The term and fees, if any;
- Means of verification;
- State the confession or reliance precisely, without absolute statements.
Article 3: Conditions of issuance
A completion document or diploma will not be issued until the academic requirements are met, the identity is settled, and any declared project requirement is completed. The result is not changed by a financial situation, subject to the limits of blocking a service or a non-mandatory copy permitted by law.
Article 4: Issuing entity
The name of the real source and his signature, stamp, or means of accreditation appear. The logo of a party that did not issue the document or did not authorize the use of its identity shall not be displayed.
Article 5: Joint programs
Participation by a Canadian entity or training provider does not automatically mean a joint release. Joint issuance must be based on an enforceable agreement covering the programme, region, batch and document type.
Article 6: Names and data
The trainee is required to review name, date of birth and software before final release. The error issued by the Academy will be corrected and the publication will be reissued without a fee. Changing correct data after issuance is subject to appropriate proof and an announced fee, if any.
Article 7: Serial number and verification
A unique number or verification code can be assigned. The general verification page is limited to limited data such as the authenticity of the document, the name or part of it, the program, date, source, and status. It does not display detailed results, financial data, or identity.
Article 8: Revealing the points
Reflects the approved central register, showing the rating system, units and status. When the platform or version is different, traces of the original processes and documents are reviewed and the trainee is not responsible for a fixed synchronization error.
Article 9: Alternative copies
An additional copy or replacement can be requested. Fees and duration are announced before ordering. Issuing a new copy does not change the original due date, and cancellation is indicated if a defective or counterfeit copy is replaced.
Article 10: Translation and certification
The Academy clarifies whether the translation is issued by it for information only or by a qualified translator, and whether the certification is outside its service. It does not guarantee the acceptance of a translation or certification by another party.
Article 11: Meaning of recognition and accreditation
A distinction must be made between:
- Register an entity or name;
- Partnership agreement;
- Licensing or accrediting an institution;
- Special approval for a programme;
- Acceptance of a document from an employer or university;
- License to practice a regulated profession.
One cannot be inferred from the other without an explicit, verifiable document.
Article 12: Organized professional programs
The trainee must check with the competent authority in the country of practice before registering. The document alone does not grant the right to use a protected professional title, health practice, or regulated profession unless the law and the competent authority provide for this.
Article 13: External requests for verification
It is provided with as much information as is necessary, with the consent of the document holder or a suitable basis, with the possibility of verifying the authenticity of the code without revealing a complete record.
Article 14: Suspicion of forgery
It is permissible to hang the verification page or tag the document under review upon serious evidence, while preserving the original and record and notifying its owner and enabling him to respond. A valid academic record will not be erased due to misuse of a copy.
Article 15: Issuance deadlines
The program sets its target term after the conditions are met. If he is late, the trainee will be informed of the status and estimated duration, and an interim statement may be issued to reflect the fact if available.
Article 16: Review
A correction or review of a release rejection or verification result may be requested according to POL-18. No fee is charged to correct a material error issued by the Academy.
Article 17: Privacy and Retention
A record of issuance and verification shall be maintained to the extent necessary to prevent forgery and re-issuance, in accordance with POL-20 and the applicable internal control.
Article 18: Communication
Document requests and verification via [email protected] or the official verification page at https://www.asmhafrica.com when available.
