- Document code:
- ASMH-AFRIQUE-POL-04
- Version:
- 1.0
- Effective date:
- 16 August 2026
- Geographic scope:
- Kingdom of Morocco and African countries
- Intended audiences:
- Applicants, trainees and anyone paying fees on behalf of a trainee
Preamble
ASMH Africa understands that financial planning differs from one trainee to another. It may therefore provide payment plans that divide training fees into clear, pre-established instalments.
This Policy is based on friendly reminders, a reasonable grace period, direct communication, and the possibility of considering rescheduling when a temporary difficulty occurs. Late-payment measures are not intended to pressure the trainee, but to organise continuity of study and protect the trainee’s record and completed work.
Article 1: Purpose of the Policy
This Policy explains:
- the conditions for benefiting from an instalment plan;
- the information displayed before accepting the plan;
- payment dates and methods;
- due-date reminders;
- the grace period following a due date;
- how incomplete transactions are handled;
- solutions available for temporary financial difficulty;
- payment rescheduling;
- the effect of late payment on study access;
- how studies may be resumed;
- early payment of the balance;
- the effect of withdrawal or a refund on future instalments.
Article 2: Instalment-Plan Principles
ASMH Africa applies the following principles:
- instalments are chosen voluntarily;
- the total price, not only the instalment amount, is displayed;
- a written payment schedule is provided;
- no interest is charged on an instalment plan offered directly by ASMH Africa;
- no hidden late fee is charged;
- a reminder is sent before any measure is taken;
- a reasonable automatic grace period is granted;
- rescheduling requests are considered;
- activities and results are preserved during a temporary pause;
- a trainee’s record is not deleted because of financial delay;
- access is restored after the situation is resolved;
- mandatory rights in the trainee’s country of residence are respected.
Article 3: Nature of an Instalment Plan
An instalment plan is an arrangement allowing programme fees to be paid in several payments instead of in full at registration.
ASMH Africa may offer:
- one payment;
- four payments;
- another plan for a specific programme;
- a special plan linked to a scholarship or study assistance;
- payment by separate units where the programme allows it.
The options available to each applicant are shown in the registration offer. A particular plan should not be assumed to exist unless it is offered in writing.
Article 4: Information Provided Before the Plan Is Accepted
Before acceptance, the applicant receives a schedule showing:
- the programme name;
- the price for payment in full;
- the total price when paid by instalments;
- the first-payment amount;
- the number of payments;
- each payment amount;
- each due date;
- the reference currency;
- any discount or scholarship;
- any difference between payment in full and instalments;
- the price-protection period;
- the study start date;
- the effect of delay on access to new units;
- how to request rescheduling.
If the instalment price equals the price for payment in full, this is stated clearly.
An applicant is not required to accept a plan that does not show the total price.
Article 5: Acceptance of the Instalment Plan
The plan is adopted after:
- an admission decision is issued, where required;
- the full financial schedule is displayed;
- the payer reviews the dates and amounts;
- the plan is accepted electronically;
- the first payment succeeds;
- a copy of the schedule is sent to the account or email address.
Paying a partial amount that is not linked to a clear offer is not sufficient to create an instalment plan.
Article 6: No Discrimination for Choosing Instalments
Choosing instalments does not affect:
- the academic admission decision;
- content quality;
- assessment standards;
- the trainee’s right to support;
- the value of results;
- the nature of the diploma or certificate.
Access to later units or stages may be linked to payment dates, and this is shown before the plan is accepted.
Article 7: Total Plan Price
The official price remains set in Moroccan dirhams.
The plan shows:
- the base price;
- any discount;
- any scholarship;
- any payable taxes;
- the amount paid;
- the outstanding balance.
Where the plan is provided directly by ASMH Africa without interest, no periodic or compound interest is added to the balance.
Any administrative fee associated with a particular plan must be displayed before acceptance and included in the total amount.
Article 8: Payment Dates
Payment dates are stated in the trainee’s personal schedule.
They may use:
- a fixed date each month;
- dates linked to programme stages;
- dates linked to opening groups of units;
- a schedule aligned with the programme duration.
If a due date falls on a public holiday or a day when the payment method is unavailable, the deadline extends to the next working day without an additional fee.
Article 9: Reminder Before a Payment Date
Where contact details are up to date, ASMH Africa sends:
- a reminder before the due date;
- a notice on the due date;
- a notice if the transaction is incomplete;
- a statement of the outstanding balance.
The reminder may be sent by:
- email;
- an in-account notification;
- text message;
- the messaging application chosen by the trainee.
These are service messages connected with registration, not marketing messages.
Article 10: Automatic Grace Period
The trainee receives an automatic grace period of ten calendar days after the due date.
During this period:
- ASMH Africa charges no late fee;
- no interest is added to the amount;
- the account remains active;
- normal study access continues;
- the payment may be made through an available method;
- assistance or rescheduling may be requested.
Where a bank transaction started before the grace period ended, its processing time is taken into account when its number or evidence is submitted.
Article 11: From Day Eleven to Day Thirty
If payment is not completed after the grace period and no rescheduling request is received:
- the trainee receives a personal notice;
- the account and progress record remain preserved;
- previously opened materials may remain accessible where the platform permits;
- the opening of new units or stages may be paused temporarily;
- a new assessment may be postponed to a suitable later date;
- the support team remains available;
- the normal pathway can be restored immediately once the payment is settled or a new schedule is approved.
Results already earned are not cancelled because of this period.
Article 12: Temporary Study Pause After Thirty Days
If more than thirty days pass without payment or contact, the registration status may be changed to:
“Temporary study pause for financial reasons”
This means:
- new content is no longer opened;
- future activities are postponed;
- the account is preserved;
- results are preserved;
- uploaded files are preserved;
- previous payments are preserved;
- resumption may be requested.
A temporary pause does not mean dismissal or loss of completed work.
Article 13: Requesting Rescheduling
Rescheduling may be requested:
- before the due date;
- during the automatic grace period;
- after studies have been paused temporarily.
The request may be made through:
- the support portal;
- the contact form;
- the official email address.
The trainee is not required to provide more personal detail than is necessary to understand the request.
It is sufficient to state:
- the application or registration number;
- the payment concerned;
- the proposed date;
- the preferred solution.
Article 14: Possible Solutions
Depending on the programme duration and outstanding balance, one of the following may be considered:
- postponing a payment date;
- dividing one payment into two smaller payments;
- choosing a more suitable monthly date;
- pausing studies for a specified period;
- switching to registration by unit if the programme permits;
- using an existing credit balance;
- reviewing eligibility for available study assistance;
- preparing a new schedule for the outstanding balance.
The approved solution is sent in writing and becomes effective only after acceptance by the trainee or payer.
Article 15: Processing a Rescheduling Request
ASMH Africa aims to:
- acknowledge the request within two business days;
- review the balance and programme;
- provide a response or proposal within five business days;
- take no new measure while considering a request submitted before the grace period ends;
- retain a copy of the amended schedule in the account.
If the first proposal is unsuitable, the trainee may explain the situation and request review of another possible solution.
Article 16: Changing a Due Date
A due date may be changed following written agreement.
The amended schedule states:
- the previous date;
- the new date;
- the payment amount;
- later payments;
- any effect on the programme duration;
- the final balance.
The date is not changed orally only; confirmation appears in the account or by email.
Article 17: Incomplete Transactions
If the trainee attempts to pay an instalment but the transaction does not complete:
- the attempt is not treated as disregard of the due date;
- the transaction number may be sent to support;
- the charge status is reviewed;
- the trainee is not asked to repeat payment before verification whenever possible;
- technical processing continues until the result appears;
- if the amount arrives, the account is updated and a receipt issued.
Article 18: Automatic Payments
Where an automatic-payment feature is available, it is activated only after separate consent from the payer.
The authorisation states:
- the payment amount or how it is determined;
- the debit date;
- the number of payments;
- how the authorisation can be managed;
- how automatic payment can be stopped.
An appropriate reminder is sent before the debit date where the method permits.
Stopping automatic debits does not cancel the fee plan; it allows the payer to use another method for future payments.
Article 19: Unsuccessful Automatic Debit
If an automatic payment fails:
- the payer receives a notice;
- ASMH Africa charges no penalty for the attempt;
- the automatic grace period begins;
- the payment method may be updated;
- a new link may be requested;
- the amount is not debited again without notice or otherwise than under the accepted authorisation.
Article 20: Early Payment
The trainee may pay:
- the next instalment before its due date;
- several instalments together;
- the full outstanding balance.
ASMH Africa does not charge a fee for early payment.
After the balance is settled, the trainee receives:
- a receipt;
- an updated account statement;
- confirmation that no instalments remain.
Any early-payment discount must be announced before the transaction.
Article 21: Partial Amounts
If the trainee pays part of an instalment without a new schedule:
- the amount is recorded in the account;
- a receipt is sent;
- the remaining part of the instalment is shown;
- the trainee may request that the remainder be divided;
- the amount paid is not lost.
A partial payment is not a final amendment to the plan until written confirmation of the new schedule is sent.
Article 22: Excess Payments
If an amount greater than the instalment is paid, the payer may choose to:
- apply the difference to the next instalment;
- add it to the credit balance;
- receive a refund.
The excess is not allocated to another service without the payer’s consent.
Article 23: Payment by Another Person
Where a family member or supporting organisation pays the instalments:
- the payer’s name is recorded;
- the programme remains in the trainee’s name;
- financial reminders may be sent to the payer with consent;
- academic information remains private to the trainee;
- if the payer stops paying, the trainee is notified and given an opportunity to choose another method or request rescheduling.
Article 24: Currency Conversion
Each instalment remains set in Moroccan dirhams unless the schedule expressly states a fixed amount in another currency.
The value displayed in the payer’s local currency may change from one payment to another because of exchange rates, while the reference amount in Moroccan dirhams remains fixed.
The payment provider displays the final amount before confirmation.
Article 25: Bank Fees
The bank or payment provider may apply a separate transfer or currency-conversion fee.
Such fees are not part of the instalment unless included in the ASMH Africa summary.
If a transfer arrives short because of a bank fee:
- the amount received is recorded;
- the payer is informed of the difference;
- only the difference needs to be completed;
- the full amount is not requested again.
Article 26: Price Protection
The agreed total price remains fixed while the trainee:
- follows the original plan; or
- has written rescheduling; or
- is in an approved study pause within the agreed period.
General price increases do not affect previously confirmed instalments.
If the pause exceeds the approved period and the trainee requests new services or units, any difference is shown before resumption.
Article 27: Period for Preserving the Right to Resume
After registration is placed on temporary pause, ASMH Africa preserves the trainee’s record and right to request resumption for at least ninety days.
During that period, the trainee may return by:
- paying the outstanding instalment;
- accepting an amended plan;
- extending the pause through written approval.
After ninety days, completed study and payments remain recorded, but resumption requires academic and financial review to determine an appropriate plan.
Article 28: Withdrawal From the Programme
If the trainee chooses to withdraw:
- future payments stop according to the date and conditions on which withdrawal is accepted;
- a statement of amounts paid is prepared;
- the service already received is reviewed;
- any refund due is calculated under the Withdrawal, Cancellation and Refund Policy;
- no future payments continue after the obligation ends under the applicable rules.
Choosing instalments does not reduce the trainee’s right to withdraw or receive a refund where that right applies.
Article 29: Programme Cancellation by ASMH Africa
If the programme cannot continue:
- future instalments for the unavailable portion stop;
- the trainee is informed;
- an alternative date or suitable transfer is offered;
- no transfer occurs without consent;
- the amount due for the unprovided portion is refunded if no alternative is chosen.
Article 30: Programme Completion and Final Document
When the trainee completes the programme requirements, the financial account is reviewed.
If the balance is settled, the process for issuing the final document begins under the diplomas and certificates policy.
If an unclear amount or a processing payment remains, support helps settle or verify it before issue is completed.
No new fee is requested unless it appeared in the registration offer or relates to an additional service accepted by the trainee.
Article 31: Instalment Plans Subject to Special Rules
If a plan is considered, under the rules applicable in Morocco or the trainee’s country of residence, a financial arrangement subject to special provisions, the trainee receives the required additional information and documents before acceptance, including as applicable:
- the price for payment in full;
- the total instalment price;
- the plan cost;
- the number of payments;
- their dates;
- the offer’s validity period;
- applicable withdrawal or reflection rights.
A plan is not described as free if it includes an undisclosed additional cost.
Article 32: Confidentiality of Financial Communications
Late-payment notices are sent to:
- the trainee;
- the registered payer; or
- an authorised representative.
Financial information is not published or sent to classmates or teachers except within the administrative limits necessary to manage access, without sharing financial details.
Messages are brief, respectful and focused on the available solution.
Article 33: Requesting Assistance
Assistance is available through:
- email: info@asmhafrica.com
- official website: https://www.asmhafrica.com
- the Contact Us form;
- the support portal in the account.
Please provide:
- the name;
- the registration number;
- the instalment concerned;
- the proposed date;
- the preferred contact method.
Card data or confidential banking codes must not be sent.
Article 34: Applicable Rules
This Policy applies under Moroccan rules on consumer protection, contracting and electronic payments.
A trainee residing in another African country retains any more favourable mandatory rights granted by the law of that country.
Article 35: Policy Updates
The version number and effective date appear at the top of the document.
No future update changes a previously confirmed financial schedule unless the trainee consents, the amendment is more favourable, or a mandatory rule requires it.
Article 36: Acceptance of the Plan
Before instalments are adopted, the following text or equivalent is displayed:
“I have reviewed the total price, the number and amount of each instalment and its dates, the grace period, and the possibility of requesting rescheduling under the ASMH Africa Instalments and Late Payment Policy.”
A copy of the schedule and accepted Policy is retained in the trainee’s record.
